It feels like yesterday when Hot Wheels released the "last" Ferrari model in 2014, "LaFerrari".

After 11 years, these 2 giants finally confirmed the return of the partnership.

We were all enthusiastic but I don't think nobody was expecting this:

And their first release in 2025 is not one model, but a set, the "Heritage Set"

The set includes 2 cars:

The Ferrari 312 P honors the very first Ferrari produced by Hot Wheels in 1969.

It's a modern re-release of the classic model.

Yes, this is a completely new version of the 312 P that keeps the original characteristics of the first release.

But it is visible by the ground clearance and the build of the model, that this is not the casting that was used back then.

It has an opening rear cover to show the engine details and the "Neo-Classics Redline" wheels to finish the whole retro look.

On the modern side, the Ferrari 499P Modificata it's the representation of the monster that won LeMans last year.

Just like the 312 P, the 499P wears the classic red Spectraflame paint job...

...and instead of an opening engine cover, the 499P has a removable one, more in line with the modern super cars designs that are being released by the Mattel brand in the latest years.

This set is obviously an immediate must have for every collector.

The bad news that it was sold only at Mattel Creations Website for 100 USD and it got sold out in minutes.

So if you wat to have this bad boy, you'll have to dive into the secondary market were it already double its value...

...or wait for a future release. In any case, I wish all collectors good luck.

But wait, I won't leave you hanging...

...In case that your looking for Ferraris in 1:64 scale and you don't want to sell a kidney...

...I have a few for you, not Hot Wheels, but really, really good ones, happy hunting!!
