Weekly Update — New Pre-Orders & Model of the Month Spotlight

The first full week of January brings a quiet but deliberate update to the store. There were no new arrivals this week, but we have added one focused batch of new Mini GT pre-orders — a release that stands out thanks to the inclusion of three brand-new toolings.

This week’s update also ties in with our Model of the Month blog post, where we continue exploring models that represent more than just a casting — highlighting design evolution, motorsport influence, and collector relevance.

With the year just getting started, this week was intentionally lighter on physical deliveries. The focus shifts toward what’s coming next, and Mini GT opens the year with a lineup that blends modern Japanese design, motorsport development cars, and tuning culture icons.

Mini GT — New Toolings & January Highlights

This week’s pre-order update includes six new Mini GT releases, three of which introduce all-new castings, making this a compact but meaningful drop for collectors.

Mini GT – Toyota Alphard 40 (2025) (new tooling)
Mini GT – Toyota Vellfire 40 (2025) (new tooling)
The Alphard and Vellfire are pillars of Japan’s premium MPV segment. The latest 40-series generation introduced sharper styling, improved aerodynamics, and a stronger luxury focus. These models capture a side of modern JDM culture often overlooked in 1:64 scale.

Mini GT – Nissan 180SX LB-Super Silhouette TAS 2026 (new tooling)
Inspired by Tokyo Auto Salon show builds, this Super Silhouette 180SX blends classic S-chassis proportions with aggressive modern aero. A clear nod to Japan’s long-standing tuning and exhibition culture.

A competition-focused evolution of the Super Silhouette theme, this S15 reflects the crossover between drift racing and show-car aesthetics — an increasingly important trend in modern motorsport styling.

Mini GT – Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R Road America Test Car 2025
Based on Chevrolet’s latest GT3 platform, this test car represents the development phase of the Corvette’s next chapter in global endurance racing, following decades of success in GT competition.

Mini GT – Nissan GT-R Top Secret VR32 Stealth Grey 2025
A tribute to Japanese tuning legend Top Secret, this GT-R reflects Smokey Nagata’s philosophy of restrained design paired with extreme performance — subtle, purposeful, and instantly recognizable to JDM enthusiasts.

While the first week of January keeps things intentionally calm, this Mini GT pre-order batch sets a strong tone for the year ahead — especially with three new toolings entering the lineup. More arrivals and announcements are already in motion as the 2026 calendar begins to fill up.
