The controversial Type R that became a cult favorite.

When Honda introduced the Civic Type R FN2 in 2007, it marked a bold stylistic shift for the legendary performance badge. The sharply angular, futuristic hatchback design broke away from the boxy lines of earlier Type R icons like the EK and EP generations.

Interestingly, Honda produced two distinct Type R versions for the 8th-generation Civic platform. While the FD2 sedan was offered exclusively for Asian markets, the FN2 Euro kept the three-door hatchback layout aimed at European enthusiasts.

This PARA64 release presents the FN2 in its most recognizable factory color, Milano Red, enhanced with a carbon hood modification that emphasizes its track-inspired personality. Despite the mixed reception the real car received when new, the FN2 has grown into a unique and appreciated chapter in the Type R story.
