Before the famous CTR “Yellowbird,” there was the RUF BTR (Gruppe B Turbo RUF) — the model that launched RUF’s reputation as one of the most respected Porsche-based performance manufacturers. Introduced in 1983, the BTR became the first car to carry a RUF-specific VIN, marking the beginning of RUF as a true automobile manufacturer rather than just a tuner.

Based on the Porsche 930 Turbo, the BTR quickly gained international recognition. In 1984, it earned the title of “World’s Fastest Car” in testing conducted by Road & Track magazine, firmly establishing RUF among the elite high-performance brands.

This PARA64 release recreates the even rarer BTR Slantnose (Flachbau) version. Inspired by the aerodynamic design of the Porsche 935 race car, the slantnose conversion dramatically reshaped the front end while maintaining the performance DNA of the turbocharged 911 platform.

Finished in classic silver, the model features free-rolling wheels and separate clear lighting parts, capturing the unique blend of 1980s supercar style and RUF engineering heritage.
