The casting was conceptualized under the name Ape Shift, reflecting its gorilla-based design direction. As a Hot Wheels Original, Go-Realla-Fast isn't based on a specific real-world vehicle, instead using the freedom of Hot Wheels' original design language to turn an unusual concept into a distinctive 1:64-scale hot rod.
