Introduced in the 1980s, the Porsche 959 was a technological milestone for the German sports-car manufacturer. Originally developed with Group B rally regulations in mind, it combined a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine with an advanced all-wheel-drive system and sophisticated chassis technology. Its lightweight construction, aerodynamic bodywork and exceptional performance made it one of the most advanced road cars of its era. The 959 demonstrated how motorsport development could translate into groundbreaking road-going technology and remains one of Porsche’s most celebrated engineering achievements.
The Hot Wheels RLC sELECTIONs Porsche 959 is the second sELECTIONs casting of 2026, with Red Line Club members helping determine its final design. The model features a ZAMAC body finished in Spectraflame purple, complemented by a tan interior and super-light-smoke windows. Its standout feature is the debut of Real Riders BB wheels with gold-painted hubs and silver detailing, giving this release a distinctive wheel design. The rear hood opens to reveal detailed engine components, while the matte-black full-metal chassis completes the premium construction. Presented on an illustrated blister card inside a protective Kar Keepers clamshell case, this 1:64 collectible combines Porsche engineering heritage with an RLC-exclusive specification.
