A cheerful symbol of 1980s Japanese automotive design, the Honda City Cabriolet combines compact proportions with open-top motoring in a highly detailed Tomica Limited Vintage NEO miniature.
Introduced in 1981, the first-generation Honda City became famous for its tall, compact body and playful personality. Honda expanded the range with several versions, including the performance-oriented Turbo and Turbo II. In 1984, the City Cabriolet joined the lineup, bringing open-air driving to the practical city car. Developed with Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina involved in its design, it was a distinctive entry in Japan’s emerging convertible market, with a retained roll-bar structure around the B-pillars.
Tomica Limited Vintage NEO recreates the 1984 City Cabriolet in a warm orange finish, emphasizing its unusual proportions and open bodywork. The model reproduces the roll-bar structure, fully lowered side windows and visible cabin details with particular care. Printed CABRIOLET lettering on the sides completes the exterior, making this 1:64 collectible an appealing representation of one of Honda’s most characterful small cars.
