The Jaguar XJR-9 is one of the legendary Group C prototypes of the 1980s, best remembered for ending Porsche's seven-year winning streak at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988.

Developed by Tom Walkinshaw Racing for Jaguar's Group C program, the XJR-9 evolved from the successful XJR-8 and was powered by Jaguar's naturally aspirated V12. For Le Mans, the XJR-9 LM received a low-drag aerodynamic configuration designed for the high-speed demands of the Circuit de la Sarthe. The #2 Silk Cut Jaguar, driven by Jan Lammers, Johnny Dumfries and Andy Wallace, completed 394 laps to claim overall victory in the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans, beating the leading Porsche 962C by just 2 minutes and 36 seconds. The victory was Jaguar's first overall Le Mans win since 1957.

Transcend recreates the Jaguar XJR-9 Le Mans in highly detailed 1:64 scale, capturing the dramatic proportions and aerodynamic bodywork of Jaguar's iconic Group C prototype. The model features magnetic front and rear covers, allowing them to be removed to reveal the highly detailed interior and mechanical components underneath. This display-focused approach makes it possible to appreciate details that would normally remain hidden on a closed-body 1:64 racing model, making the XJR-9 an especially impressive addition to a Le Mans or Group C collection.
