New casting

The Lotus Esprit became one of James Bond's signature cars, combining British sports-car design with the cinematic world of 007.

The Lotus Esprit was introduced in 1976 and became famous for its sharply creased wedge-shaped design and mid-engine layout. For For Your Eyes Only, James Bond drove a Lotus Esprit Turbo, bringing the British sports car into another memorable chapter of the long-running Bond automotive legacy. The 1984 model year represents the later Turbo-era Esprit, continuing the distinctive shape that made the car instantly recognizable.

This Hot Wheels release introduces the 1984 Lotus Esprit Turbo as a new casting in Pop Culture Mix 6 Premium. The 1:64 model recreates the angular bodywork and low proportions of the Esprit Turbo with movie-specific decoration, while Metal/Metal construction, Real Riders wheels and premium detailing provide the finish expected from Hot Wheels' Pop Culture Premium line.
