The second-generation Pontiac Firebird Trans Am became one of the defining American performance cars of the 1970s.

Introduced in 1970, the second-generation Firebird evolved Pontiac's pony car into a lower, more aggressive shape. The Trans Am performance version combined distinctive styling with Pontiac's V8-powered performance, and by 1977 it had become one of the most recognizable muscle cars of the era. The car's dramatic styling and strong connection with American car culture also make it a natural subject for the Old School theme.

Hot Wheels brings the 1977 Pontiac Firebird T/A into Pop Culture Mix 6 Premium with Old School-inspired decoration. The 1:64 casting retains the Firebird's long hood, low roofline and distinctive front-end styling, while Metal/Metal construction, Real Riders wheels and premium detailing give the model the collector-oriented execution expected from the Pop Culture Premium range.
