The Honda Civic EF9 became a formidable Japanese touring car, combining a compact chassis with Honda's high-revving VTEC technology.

The fourth-generation Civic was already known for its lightweight construction and responsive chassis, but the EF9 became particularly memorable in Japanese touring-car competition. The 1991 PIAA Honda Civic EF9 #15 competed in the Japanese Touring Car Championship, where Honda's high-revving VTEC power and compact front-wheel-drive platform made the Civic a serious competitor.

This new tooling from POP Race recreates the #15 Honda Civic EF9 JTC 1991 InterTEC in 1:64 scale. The model features the period-correct racing livery and a working opening front hood revealing a finely detailed engine, giving collectors both an accurate touring-car silhouette and an impressive mechanical display feature.
