A rugged Land Cruiser 60 recreated as a Japanese police patrol vehicle, complete with the distinctive details of the Hokkaido Police specification.

Introduced in 1980 as the successor to the FJ56 series, the Toyota Land Cruiser 60 represented a major evolution of the legendary off-road family. It retained the robust ladder-frame construction associated with the Land Cruiser while adopting a more sophisticated station-wagon body and improved passenger comfort. The 60 Series remained in production until 1990 and became a highly regarded model both in Japan and internationally.

This Tomica Limited Vintage release recreates an early Land Cruiser 60 used by the Hokkaido Police as an initial-response patrol vehicle. The model features the characteristic round headlights, a roof-mounted red emergency light, rear barn doors, small-diameter wheels and the distinctive filled-in side windows, reproduced through painted detailing. These unusual police-specific details make this a particularly interesting Land Cruiser variant for collectors.
